GTT Training Ltd. is a wholly owned subsidiary of Gaztransport & Technigaz SA (GTT). Based in the UK, with training facilities available in Singapore, Doha, Athens, Shanghai, Houston & GTT HQ, 1 hour outside of Paris. Formed in June 2014 the company aims to support all sectors of the LNG industry, by providing high quality, specialist training and technical services.

With over 50 years’ experience in the LNG industry, and with more than two thirds of the LNG vessel fleet using their membrane tank technology, GTT have a wealth of experience in the design and operation of LNG containment and cargo handling systems.

In addition to all the expertise available within GTT, GTT Training is comprised of a small team of specialist instructors who together have :

  • 100+ years + experience sailing on board gas carriers of various types

  • 45+ years + experience in delivering courses specialising in LNG Cargo Operations

  • 30+ years experience working with GTT Membrane Containment systems design & construction departments

  • Been advisors to the industry and assisted in the development of the relevant competency standards and training requirements.

In addition to providing training, GTT Training also have their own in-house software team. The team specialize in the development of real time simulation of the behaviour of liquids and gasses in enclosed environments, resulting in 'G-Sim' our ‘Liquid Gas Handling Simulator’, which is located at our training centre at GTT’s headquarters near Paris, and in use by a number of our clients around the world.
