Who is it for:

A one day introduction course designed for those who require an understanding of the charactoristics and hazards of using LNG, Ammonia, Methanol or Hydrogen as a marine fuel and how they could help with the move to de-carbonisation.

Syllabus: This one day training course is designed to introduce delegates to the various new types of marine fuel that are being considered for the shipping industry, focusing on their charactorics, hazards and practical safety considerations. The course consists of the following subjects:

• Introduction to LNG, Ammonia, Methanol and Hydrogen
• The drivers for the alternate fuels
• The Properties of the fuels
• Hazards of the fuels
• IGF Code, Regulations and guidance
• Types of tank containment systems
• Bunker delivery methods

• Emergency Response and fire fighting

• Personnel training requirements

Methodology: Mixture of lectures, videos and discussion

Certification: Upon completion each delegate will receive a certificate issued by GTT Training.

Duration: 1 day

Location: Provided 'ONLINE', or 'Face to Face' at our partner facilities, or at a time or place of your convenience (travel restrictions allowing)

Payments: Upon confirmation that the course will run GTT Training Ltd will issue an invoice using the details provided on the registration form. Except when separate arrangements have been agreed in advance, full payment will be required within 30 days of the invoice date, or prior to the commencement date of the course, whichever is earlier. Payment should be made into the GTT Training Ltd account as per the instructions on the invoice(s). Payments can also be made by credit card or PayPal, please follow the instructions on the invoice.
