First G-Sim Online installation for Celcius Tech - July 2020'. Celcius Tech have become the first operators to use the G-Sim online facilities. The 4 station configuaration with LNG Carrier models will be used to facilitate the delivery of training to their opratives located in different locations around the world.

GTT Training receives the 'LNG World Shipping Safety Award 2019'. GTT Training was awarded the LNG World Shipping Safety Award 2019 at the awards ceremony which took place in London on November 28th 2019, for its contribution to taking into account the 'human factor' in maintaining safety in the industry.

G-Sim installed in MTC Hamburg - September 2019. The G-Sim LNG Carrier & LNG Fuel Handling & Bunkering software has been installed at the MTC HAmburg training centre. The installation comprises of 1 instructor and 3 student stations and will primarily be used by MTC to support the training of personnel who will be serving on board LNG fuelled vessels.

G-Sim installed in Mumbai for MOL - July 2019. The G-Sim LNG Carrier software has been installed at the MOL Maritime (India) training centre located in Mumbai. The installation comprises of 1 instructor and 4 student stations and will be used to support the training requirements for MOL personnel who will be serving on the expanding MOL LNG Carrier fleet.

G-Sim LNG Bunkering & Fuel Gas Handling Systems model receives DNV-GL approval - July 2019. GTT Training has obtained approval from DNV-GL for its new LNG Bunkering & Fuel Gas Handling System simulation model for G-Sim from DNV-GL in accordance with their standard for Maritime Simulator Systems. DNV-GL’s standard specifies the requirements of simulators that are to be used to deliver training to the shipping industry in accordance with the STCW convention requirements, and in this case specifically for those vessels built to the IGF Code.

This new simulator includes the vessel’s LNG fuel tanks and the complete fuel gas handling management system, along with all the associated support systems as fitted on the latest LNG fuelled vessels and allows a user to undertake any operation with such a system as on board a real vessel. These operations include preparation and management of the LNG fuel tanks, bunkering from different types of suppliers and the supply of gas fuel to the equipments onboard using both compressors and fuel pumps.

Specialist LNG Operations Course for USCG delivered in Houston - May 2019. GTT Training delivered a training course for the USCG, for their GAs Carrier Inspectors focusing on the design and operation of LNG Carriers that are now visiting the US in increasing numbers. The course was conducted at the offices of GTT-NA using G-Sim providing the attendees with the opportunity to undertake the operations directly and thereby appreciate more of he issues that the ships crews encounter.

G-Sim installed in three Bernhard Schulte Training Centres - Oct 2018. The G-Sim LNG Carrier and LNG Bunkering software has been installed in three of the Bernhard Schulte Training Centres located in Gydnia, Manila and Mumbai. Each comprising of 1 instructor and between 4 & 6 student stations the installations are equipped with both the LNG Carrier and LNG Bunkering / LNG as a Fuel models. Bernhard Schulte will use the systems to further expand their training capabilities for their seafarers focusing in particular on the emerging technologies related to the use of LNG as a fuel on vessels within their fleet,.

LNG Terminal Marine Coordinators Course delivered in Houston - Jan 2018. GTT Training have successfully delivered the first LNG Marine Coordinators course to be provided from the offices of GTT North America in Houston. Conducted for Cheniere, the course combined lectures with exercises conducted using the G-Sim LNG Carrier simulator, and involved the attendees being engaged with all the typical operations that may be conducted alongside an LNG export terminal relating to the vessel.

G-Sim installed at the Azalea Maritime Training Centre, Bijela, Montenegro - Jan 2018. The G-Sim LNG Carrier and LNG Bunkering software has been installed at the Azalea Maritime Training Centre in Bijela. Comprising of 1 instructor and 6 student stations and both the LNG Carrier and LNG Bunkering models, G-Sim will be used to support the wide range of training activities that are offered by Azalea Maritime, but with specific reference to training personnel for service on LNG Carriers and LNG fuelled vessels.

FSRU Operations Course for MOL LNG (Europe) - Oct 2017. GTT Training have assisted MOL LNG (Europe) in pepering for their first FSRU by providing a 2 day training course for the crews that will be joining the vessel. The course focused on the regassification system and its operation and was conducted at the Azalea Maritime Training Centre in Biejla, Montenegro

First 'SIGTTO' LNG Cargo Operations Course conducted in Shanghai, China - Sept 2017 GTT Training, working together with the Shanghai Maritime University (SMU) have successfully delivered the first LNG Cargo Operations (SIGTTO Management Level) Course in China. The course was conducted for China LNG Shipping International Co (CLSICO) using the G-Sim simulator installed in the facilities provided by SMU. The simulator set up was configured for 2 instructor and 12 student stations allowing courses for both senior and junior officers to be conducted at the same time. The courses will now be run on a regular basis.

G-Sim installed at the VDAB Maritime Training Center, Zeebrugge, Belgium - July 2017. The G-Sim LNG Carrier and LNG Bunkering software has been installed at the VDAB Maritime Training Center in Zeebrugge. The installation comprises of 1 instructor and 6 student stations together with both the LNG Carrier and LNG Bunkering models. VDAB intend to use the simulator primarily to support their training programs for crews who will be joining vessels that will be using LNG as a marine fuel.

G-Sim installed in the USCG Liquefied Gas Carrier National Center of Expertise, Port Arthur, TX - January 2017 The G-Sim LNG Carrier and LNG Bunkering software has been installed by the USCG at their National Center of Expertise for Gas Carriers in Port Arthur, Texas. The software will be used by the centers personnel to complement their existing tools to assist with the training of USCG inspectors and in the expansion of their knowledge regarding the operation of LNG facilities and vessels.

G-Sim Installed in the Ho Chi Ming City Vocational Maritime College, Vietnam - Sept 2016 Together with their partners VSTEP, GTT Training have completed the installation of the G-Sim simulator at the Ho Chi Ming City Vocational College and the training of the future instructors. The installation comprised of 1 instructor and 4 student stations each equipped with the LNG Carrier modules that allow up to 12 different types of LNG Carrier to be simulated.

G-Sim Software receives Type A 'Full Mission' approval - July 2016: The G-Sim LNG Simulator software obtained approval by DNVGL in accordance with their standard for Maritime Simulator Systems.
