We specialise in helping individuals and organisations who wish to know more about LNG, both ashore and afloat.

 
 

We are pleased to advise the gradual return of ‘in-person’ or ‘face to face’ courses at our training centre near Paris and with our partners in Singapore. In addition, our portfolio of courses, including those that are simulator based, will continue to be available on line for the foreseeable future.

Training Courses

LNG Terminal Marine Coordinators

LNG & Oil Ship to Ship Operations

G-Sim, Liquid Gas Handling Simulator developed by GTT Training Ltd., is a highly detailed simulation platform that allows operators to be trained in all aspects of handling Liquid Gas on board ship and in shore facilities either as a cargo or as a fuel. Type approved by DNV for the delivery of maritime training programs including STCW, it is available to purchase as a classroom (G-Sim) or cloud based (G-Sim Online) system using the supplied model libraries or we also provide model development services where client vessels or facilities may be modelled to allow specific vessel/facility training to be conducted.

G-Sim

For installation on MS Windows based PC or tablet and can be configured in single, or multi station configurations for a traditional classroom setup arrangement. Model libraries available include:

  • LNG Carriers

    • Incorporating 12+ different configurations of typical LNG Carriers based on size, tank containment and propulsion systems

  • LNG Fuel Gas Handling Systems & Bunkering - designed for the training of ships crews who will engaged in the use of LNG as a marine fuel. Models available include:

    • LNG Bunker Vessel

    • Four different configurations of fuel gas handling system based on type of storage tank, fuel gas equipment and types of consumers

  • LNG Small Scale Terminal

    • LNG Terminal comprising storage, ships berth and truck station

All the models allow detailed training to be provided in all aspects of LNG Cargo / Fuel Operations

G-Sim Online

Hosted in the cloud but with the same functionality as the classroom based system. Allows access to the G-Sim simulator to be provided from any location to anybody who has a PC or tablet (Windows, Apple or Android) that is equipped with an internet connection.

Model Development Service

Would you like to facilitate the training of your operatives using a model based on your specific vessel or facility? If so, we offer a model development service that can be used to provide a model including all pipelines, equipment and controls of any type of liquid and/or gas handling system that may be used onboard vessels or in shore facilities. Compositions that may be modelled can include, but are not limited to any of the following LNG, Ethane, Propane, Butane, LPG, NH3, Hydrogen, Water, etc
