As the LNG market continues to grow rapidly, the fleet of LNG carriers also continues to experience tremendous growth. Since their first use in 1964, the size and capacity of LNG carriers has increased substantially and the fleet is expected to increase by 25% by 2018 requiring 2500 extra officers to be employed and trained.
